Spinal manipulation in Midland.

A quick, specific input to a joint that has stopped moving well. Used when the exam says it will help, never as the whole plan.

What It Is

One small input. Used on purpose.

A segment that has stopped moving well can free up fast, and that window is what we are after. Easier to turn, easier to stand up straight, easier to do the work that follows.

Manipulation is a quick, specific movement applied to one joint. People often feel looser right afterward, and often hear a pop. Nothing is being put back in place, because nothing slipped out of place. We do not make claims about straightening your alignment or curing anything.

It is also never the whole plan. We use it when your evaluation says it will help, then spend the rest of the visit on the strength and movement that keep that segment happy. It sits in Pain and Prime. Perform and Prevent are what stop you needing it again.

What It Helps

When it is the right call.

You have been stretching it and hoping it settles, because there is never a good week to deal with it. Every month you spend guarding it, the guarding gets a little more permanent.

What A Session Looks Like

Nothing happens by surprise.

1

We screen first. Not everyone is a fit.

2

We explain it, and you say when.

3

Then we train the segment to hold it.

Why It Works

Why we use it, and only sometimes.

Motion back in a segment that quit moving.

A window where the exercise gets easier.

Screened first, so it fits you or it waits.

One tool inside a plan, never the plan.

Questions, Answered

Spinal manipulation, no mystery.

No, and it does not need to be. Nothing slipped out of place, so nothing is being put back. The sound is not the point either: some visits have it and some do not. What matters is the motion you have afterward and what we do with it in the same visit.

Then we do not do it. Plenty of plans here never include manipulation at all, and we have other ways to get a stiff segment moving. We also screen for it first, so if your exam says it is not the right call, that decision is already made for you. You will always know what is coming before it happens.

No referral needed. Texas has direct access, so you can be evaluated here without a physician sending you over. This is one technique inside a physical therapy plan, and we are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, 90 Degree Benefit, UMR and Curative, with out-of-network and self-pay both available. A free benefits check gets you your numbers before you start, and your plan comes with an endpoint rather than a standing appointment. Call (432) 262-1001 to ask first.
