Our Commitment

Accessibility statement.

We want everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to find care, understand it, and book it on this site.

Our conformance target

Cultivate Wellness & Sports Rehab is committed to making this website usable by people of all abilities. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What we have done

Before this site launched, we reviewed every page and template against WCAG 2.1 AA, including:

  • Keyboard access to every menu, form, and interactive element, including a skip-to-content link and visible focus outlines on every page.
  • Color and contrast checked against our brand palette, including button, link, and focus-indicator states.
  • Descriptive alternative text on informative images, and decorative images and icons hidden from assistive technology.
  • Labeled, error-checked forms for booking, benefits checks, and contact, with error messages announced to screen readers.
  • Motion and auto-advancing content that respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting and still works if a script fails to load.
  • Automated testing (axe-core) across every page template, alongside manual keyboard and screen-reader checks of the booking and benefits-check flows.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We re-check this site whenever we add or change a page.

Known limitations

A few things on this site are provided by outside companies, and we cannot fully control their code:

  • Live Google reviews widget (on the home page) is rendered by a third-party service (Elfsight). If it fails to meet your accessibility needs, every review it displays is also readable at our Google Business profile (opens in a new tab).
  • Embedded Google Maps on our location sections are Google’s own product. We give each map a descriptive title, but Google controls what happens inside the frame.
  • Patient story carousel (on the home page) advances automatically every few seconds. It pauses on hover and on keyboard focus, and full manual controls (previous, next, and jump-to-story buttons) are always available; we are evaluating adding a persistent pause button.

If any of these get in the way of booking care, call us and we will take care of it by phone — see below.
