Decompression Table in Midland.

A controlled, computer-guided pull that takes pressure off the discs and nerves in your low back or neck, so the rest of your plan can get to work.

What It Is

Traction, set and watched by your therapist.

When a disc bulges or a nerve is getting squeezed, sitting, standing and even sleeping can keep the pressure on all day. The decompression table gives that part of the spine a break.

You lie comfortably on a padded table with a harness at the hips or the neck. The table applies a slow, gentle pull, then eases off, in timed cycles. That controlled stretch creates a little more space between the vertebrae and takes load off the disc and the nerve root sitting beside it.

We set the angle, the force and the timing for your body, and we start light. It is not a treatment on its own: we pair it with the movement and strength work that keeps the pressure off once you are back on your feet. If decompression is the wrong call for you, we say so instead of selling it.

Questions, Answered

Decompression, no mystery.

It should not. Most people feel a slow, steady stretch through the low back or neck, and many find it relaxing enough to doze off. We start with a light pull, watch how your body responds, and adjust from there. If anything feels sharp or wrong, tell us and we stop.

Decompression is not a fit for everyone. Recent spinal fractures, spinal fusion hardware, advanced osteoporosis, pregnancy and some other conditions rule it out or call for a different approach. We screen for all of that during your evaluation before you ever get on the table.

No referral needed. Texas has direct access, so you can be seen here without going to a doctor first. Coverage depends on your plan, so we run a free benefits check and tell you what yours looks like before you owe anything. We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, 90 Degree Benefit, UMR and Curative, and we see out-of-network and self-pay patients too.

You will not have to guess. The evaluation gives you a plan with an endpoint: what is wrong, roughly how long it takes, and what has to change before you are done. Decompression usually runs as a series of short sessions early in the plan, then tapers off as the strength and movement work takes over. Want the numbers before you book? Call us at (432) 262-1001.
